Bridal trial faq’s

  • A bridal trial, or bridal preview is a 1.5 - 2 HR service, where together we collaborate on creating the perfect bridal look for you. This gives you the chance to try out looks prior to the big day, see how products wear and last on your skin, and tweak anything you may dislike before your wedding day.

  • Trials are 100% optional, but strongly encouraged.
in the instance that we do not do a trial, I typically encourage allowing for extra time with the bride on the wedding day.

  • Allow for 1 hour and a half to 2 hours for a trial.

  • I usually encourage booking a trial 2-4 months prior to your wedding date.

A lot of my brides choose to do their trial for events like engagement photos, or their bridal shower.

  • All trials will take place at my private studio located in windsor, ontario.

  • Please come to your trial with a clean, bare face and some inspiration photos.

If you will be doing things like getting lash extensions, a spray tan, etc prior to the wedding, then I encourage doing so for your trial as well.

I encourage wearing comfortable and easy to remove clothing (ex; a robe, loose fitted top, etc) to avoid disturbing the makeup upon outfit changes.

Please remember to do any skin, brow or hair removal maintenance 3-5 days prior to your wedding trial day. This will ensure a smooth base but not freshly waxed/shaved as makeup tends not to adhere to freshly waxed/shaved skin.

  • bridal trials start at $100.

Bridal & wedding day faq’s

  • Yes, as long as a minimum of 3 people require makeup applications.
A travel fee of $1/km to the “getting ready” destination will be added to all application fees.

  • This is not your everyday quick makeup application! please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for bridal makeup application.
in the instance that we were not able to do a trial, please allow for 2 hours for bridal makeup.

For all others (Bridesmaids, Mother of the bride/groom, guests, etc), please allow 1 hour for makeup application.

  • please understand that if it’s one thing makeup artists need, it’s space to work.
when determining your “getting ready” location, please ensure there will be enough space and surfaces (ex; tables, counters, etc) for the artist(s) to work.

  • Usually, the answer is no unfortunately. But in the circumstances that the bride and entire bridal party are complete, I will accept last minute services, if time allows.

  • I always encourage a second artist for parties larger than 4 to avoid anyone being rushed.

if you happen to require a second artist, with enough notice I can typically secure an artist for you.

  • bridal suites are typically ideal for photos etc. however, most venues will not give you access to the bridal suite until around 11:00 AM (which is not ideal for early mornings).

in this case, i recommend booking an AIR bnb or hotel room the night before to get ready in, and then head to your bridal suite afterwards.

  • I encourage my brides not to introduce/try any new skin care products or facial treatments at least 2 weeks prior to their wedding date, just to avoid the possibility of any bad reactions.

The best thing you can do for your skin leading up to your wedding day is to cleanse it daily (wash your face with a gentle facial cleanser morning AND night), and hydrate it daily with a moisturizer (again, morning and night).

It is helpful to gently exfoliate 1-2 times a week to minimize skin texture and allow any skin care products to properly absorb.

Please remember to do any skin, brow or hair removal maintenance 3-5 days prior to your wedding day. This will ensure a smooth base but not freshly waxed/shaved as makeup tends not to adhere to freshly waxed/shaved skin.

  • The honest answer is whichever you prefer! Typically most people do like to get their hair done first, and makeup second.

  • Cash is ideal (please have exact $ as i dont often have change).

    I will also accept e-transfer.
